Le Pere Jules - Cidre

Domaine le Pere Jules is located in the village of Saint Desir in Normandy.Three generations working together. In 1919, Jules Desfrieches, just back from World War 1, pressed and sold his first bottle of Cider. Four years later, in 1923, he made his first distillation and developed a Calvados and Pommeau range. In 1949 Leon Desfrieches took over his father’s work and renamed the Cidrerie: Le Pere Jules in honor of his father. 

Tasting notes: Very mature apple, white flowers and honey. Upfront in the first mouth, it develops an earthy, rich and fruity bouquet with interesting tannins for a long aftertaste.
