Monthuys Pere et Fils is a family-owned Champagne maker in the village of Charly sur Marne, located on the west side of the Marne Valley.
The vineyards boast a dry, sunny, south/south east orientation. The proximity of the Marne River (the longest river in France, which flows east of Paris) creates a temperate microclimate which prevents frosts during the winter and allows better maturation of the grapes during the summer. Clay and limestone soil. With a pale yellow colour the noise reveals a bouquet of apple, peach and pear. In Mouth, this Champane is wellbalanced and interlaced with vinous aromas and fruits, supported by a good structure. A pleasing Champagne, round, fruity and finally honeyed.
